"Shadowplay" is an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The episode was written by Robert Hewitt Wolfe and was first aired in February 1994 in the second season of the series.

Odo and Jadzia Dax investigate the disappearance of twenty-two people on a Gamma Quadrant planet. With Odo away, Quark attempts to distract Kira Nerys by luring Vedek Bareil to the space station. Meanwhile, Benjamin Sisko prepares Jake for his application to Starfleet Academy.
