Inquisition is an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It was written by David Weddle and Bradley ThompsonMA and directed by Michael Dorn. It first aired in April 1998 as part of the sixth season.
Bashir is accused of being a Dominion spy, although it is part of a larger plan by a mysterious Federation group.

Background
- This episode introduces Sloan of Section 31, who would again represent the group in "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges" and "Extreme Measures". Section 31 would later appear in several episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise and would inspire the Star Trek: Section 31 novel series, as well as appear in novels of all the Star Trek series. A slightly different Section 31 appears in Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek: Discovery.
