"Covenant" is a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode. It aired in 1998 as part of the seventh season of the series.
Kira encounters Dukat, now the leader of the Cult of the Pah-wraith, on Empok Nor.
Summary
Kira is visited by her old friend Vedek Fala from the Singha refugee camp. He gives her a present, a crystal, that starts glowing and activates a transporter. Kira finds herself on Empok Nor and surrounded by members of the Pah-wraith cult. They bring her to the master: Dukat. Dukat tries to convince Kira that the Pah-wraiths are not evil and that they want to help the Bajoran people. Dukat has convinced himself that he is the Pah-wraith’s Emissary. Kira can’t tell if Dukat is genuine or insane,
Vedek Fala arrives on the station and reveals to Kira that he joined the cult long before Dukat started to lead it. Kira is shocked by his revelation, but tours the station with Fala, who points out how the cultists are working together. Kira meets a young woman called Mika who will soon give birth, having been allowed by Dukat to have a child with her husband Benyan. Dukat starts a service, and Kira uses an opportunity to snatch a phaser from one of the cultists. Kira is stunned when the cultists block Dukat and shield him from her. Kira is knocked out by one of the cultists.
Mika goes into labor, and gives birth to a baby that is is half-Bajoran, half-Cardassian. Dukat claims that it is a miracle from the Pah-wraiths. Vedek Fala and others believe Dukat’s lie. Kira talks to Benyan, who seems to have doubts. Dukat attempts to have Mika blown out an airlock, but she is saved by Kira. Dukat claims that Mika was in an accident, but Kira states simply that Dukat was trying to kill Mika before she revealed that Dukat is the father of her baby. Dukat realises that he is losing control and tries to trick the cultists into committing mass suicide. They will join with the Pah-wraiths in the afterlife.
Kira tries to convince Dukat to not proceed with his plan, but Dukat starts the ceremony. Kira is able to escape from her quarters and tackles Dukat to the ground. Dukat loses his own pill, which doesn’t contain poison. Exposed, Dukat transports out, but one person does take the poison: Vedek Fala. Fala says he took the poison because of faith. Kira isn’t sure he meant he lost his faith or felt betrayed by it.
Kira is rescued by the Defiant. She realises that Dukat believes that he is doing the work of the Pah-wraiths, and is a true believer, which makes him more dangerous than ever.
