Emergence was the 14th "season" update to STO video game: Star Trek Online, on 3 October 2017. Emergence came after Escalation and was followed by Age of Discovery.

• "The Discovery Lock Box!", published by Mike Fatum on 19 January 2018, introduces the tier-6 2250s-era Federation Crossfield-class science vanguard and the Klingon tier 6 Sarcophagus-class dreadnought carrier, among other Star Trek: Discovery season 1 equipment.
• "Get a Lukari Ship from Your Colony!", written by Randall and published by Fatum on 1 February 2018, provides the stats of the first full tier 6 ship acquired from a fleet holding, the Lukari Dranuur-class scout ship.
• "The Allied Pilot Escort Mega Bundle!", published 12 February 2018, introduces Allied pilot escorts: Andorian Kuthar-, Chimesh- and Thozyn-class for Starfleet; Lethean Oniros-, Nemosin- and Xechas-class for the Klingon Defense Force; Dewan Dynnasia-, Ikkabar- and Vandros-class for the Romulan Republic Navy. They are capable of pilot maneuvers and armed with wing torpedo platforms.
• "Stats of the Allied Pilot Escort Bundle!", published on 13 February 2018, provides the technical specifications of the Allied pilot escorts.
• "The Evolution of the Infinity Lock Box", written by Randall and published by Fatum on 30 March 2018, displays the 29thj century Federation Verne-class, 23rd century Kelvin timeline Federation Constitution class, 25th century Tzenkethi Shuk-din-class, and the three 29th century mirror universe Romulan Tal'aura-class, Terran Klein-class and Klingon Chargh'poH-class starships.
