Scott and David Tipton are brothers and a comic book writing team. Together they have written several Star Trek comics for the publisher IDW Publishing.

Scott Tipton is a comic historian, maintaining the website Comics 101 where he provides weekly articles on the history of comics. He is the author of TOS reference: Star Trek Vault: 40 Years From The Archives (October 2011).
