Naming
The sector was named either for the Syllerran system, or the Syllerran Rift, a prominent spatial anomaly in the region. (ST reference: Star Charts, STO episode: "Delta Quadrant")
Location
The Syllerran sector was situated between the rimward limit of the Nekrit Expanse and the coreward Alsuran sector, which together with the Kotaba sector made up the Vyntadi sector block. (STO episode: "Delta Quadrant")
The sector was circa seventy thousand light-years away from Sol. (ST reference: Star Charts)
History
In the year 2373, the lost Federation Intrepid-class starship USS Voyager traversed the region on its journey to the Federation, from stardates 50518 to 50984. (ST reference: Star Charts)
When the Alpha Quadrant Alliance established a hold in the Delta Quadrant in 2410, the Borg Cooperative, native to the Parein system, became a member of the Delta Alliance. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Alliances")
Alternate timeline
