A jumja stick is a Bajoran confectionery food that originates from the sap of the jumja tree. The confection was colloquially called "glop on a stick".
History

In 2375, after Kira Nerys told her she disliked jumja sticks for being too sweet, Senator Kimara Cretak recommended Romulan osol twists. Cretak herself had sampled a jumja stick. (DS9 episode: "Image in the Sand")
When Leeta moved into the Nagal Residence on Ferenginar after Rom became Grand Nagus, she programmed the replicator to make jumja sticks. (DS9 novel: Ferenginar: Satisfaction is Not Guaranteed)
