Vor is a star located in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in the space of the Federation.

Details

Vor is a class F white star, found in the Mempa sector of the Pi Canis sector block. Vor's star system was comprised of three orbiting planets, including second planet Vor II. (STO video game: Star Trek Online)

In the early 25th century, Federation researchers began a long-term study to determine if it would be feasible to colonize this world. To that end, the Federation established a scientific research space station, the Vor outpost, in this system. The Gorn Hegemony held suspicions that the outpost was a weapon research facility, and often tested the border at this system, sometimes leading to friction with the nearby Klingon Empire.
