The planet Danter is the homeworld of the Danteri civilization, and the center of their government, the Danteri Empire nation-state.

The Tholian Assembly claimed ownership of Danter, since the planet orbited within their boundaries for one solar day every four Tholian years, and claimed all resources on it, including ambrosia. (NF novel: Gods Above)
