The USS Rademaker (NCC-82603) was a Federation Rademaker-class multi-mission strategic explorer starship in Starfleet service in the early 25th century. It was the prototype of a Vesta-class variant subclass. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Service history and disposition

The Rademaker in .

The Rademaker in 2409.

In the 2370s decade, Captain Rademaker piloted Starfleet's quantum slipstream drive prototype USS Spirit during the first test run of its revolutionary engine. (ST reference: Ships of the Line)

The Rademaker entered service in 2409 and was the prototype for the Rademaker-class multi-mission explorer.

From 2410 onward, the Rademaker represented its class in the Starfleet Shipyards Operations interface. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

In that year, the newly launched USS Esquiline was configured as an engineering division vessel and based on the Rademaker strategic multi-mission explorer, itself a subclass of the Vesta. The Esquiline was also specialized in strategy, and equipped with an omni-directional tachyon wave siphon launcher. Khitomer Alliance flag officer in, or aligned with, Starfleet, deployed Rademaker for missions around the galaxy's four quadrants as part of the four-quadrant strategy. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock", admiralty system)
