The USS Crichton was a Federation starship, a Wells-class timeship in Starfleet service in the 29th century.

In the 2800s, Admiral Jenishan zh'Crivash was the head of Starfleet's Temporal Activities Division. In that century, zh'Crivash took the unusual step to leave her office on Earth and travel to the Typhon Expanse aboard the USS Tempus. The Tempus was accompanied by its sister ships Crichton, Haddix and Mobius.
While aboard the Tempus, the admiral transmitted an emergency retrieval signal to the USS Relativity, on an assignment to study a Class-B temporal incursion in the 13th century. (ST - Coda novel: Moments Asunder)
