Tempasa is a settlement on Bajor in Dahkur Province.

During the Occupation of Bajor, the Cardassian Ninth Order maintained a sizeable presence near Tempasa.

History and specifics

In 2328, a Son'a transport ship unloaded unmarked containers in Tempasa, part of the Cardassian plan to conquer the planet. (TN novel: Day of the Vipers)

Trentin Fala worked as a cleaner in the Cardassian records office in Tempasa. She would obtain information from the Cardassian computer systems as pass it to the Shakaar resistance cell. (DS9 episode: "The Darkness and the Light", TN novel: Dawn of the Eagles)

The Shakaar resistance cell once engaged a Cardassian force near Tempasa. (DS9 episode: "Ties of Blood and Water", LD episode: "Upper Decks")

A Cardassian geological survey station was located in the hills outside Tempasa. In 2361, the Shakaar cell attacked the station, although they discovered it was a ruse to draw out the Resistance and were attacked by the Cardassians forces. Dakahna Vaas was believed killed in the attack, although she was actually taken prisoner. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)
