Salon was a 23rd century Vulcan man, a career officer in the Federation Starfleet with an intelligence specialty.
Biography
By the 2280s decade, Salon had reached the rank of captain in the Starfleet Intelligence organization. In 2287 at the age of 47, he served as division chief of financial management for the Starfleet Intelligence Administration Division, based on Mars, circa reference stardate 2/23. He held a SECLAR rating of 6.
Salon was born 47 years earlier, on or around stardate 1/77, in the 2240s decade. He attended Starfleet Academy in the 2260s, completing two cadet cruises. He joined Starfleet Intelligence after graduation, serving for ten years with administration. In the mid-2270s, he served a year at Starbase 27. In the late 2270s, he spent three years at Starfleet Academy teaching Administration and the Romulan language. In the 2280s, he spent a year with Triangle Sector Intelligence working with colleagues Ann Bottoms, Slavit, and Harvey Wellington in support services. He returned to administration for the next six years.
His experience and training made him an expert administrator, an authority on computer operations, and a professionally qualified officer in Vulcan medicine and economics. He was also facile with the Orion language. (FASA RPG module: Star Fleet Intelligence Manual)
