Robert Picardo as the Doctor.

Robert Picardo is a veteran actor noted for playing the Emergency Medical Hologram Mark I, and its creator, Lewis Zimmerman, on Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: First Contact, and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. He voiced the character in the final season of Star Trek: Prodigy.

Picardo is the author of the Trek reference book The Hologram's Handbook, and read the audiobook adaptation of the Voyager novelization Caretaker. He contributed the Picardo's Penne recipe to fellow VOY actor Ethan Phillips' ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook.

In 2014 Picardo reprised the role of the Doctor for Star Trek Online: Delta Rising.
