Calcium (symbol Ca) is a chemical element, atomic number 20 on the periodic table.

Characteristics and history

Calcium has an atomic mass of 40.08, and was discovered by Humans for the first time in England on Earth's European continent in the year 1808. (ST reference: Star Fleet Medical Reference Manual)
