Amato was a 24th century Human woman, a member of the Federation Starfleet in the 2360s decade, attached to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers (SCE).

Biography

In the year 2368, she held the rank of lieutenant and was employed in the SCE mining operation on the planet Naia VII. She accompanied Captain Ochoa when he met with Commander William Riker, Lieutenant Commander Data and Lieutenant Worf of the USS Enterprise-D, and accompanied them on a tour of the mine works. When a burst pressure compartment flooded a mine, Worf rescued Amato and Ochoa. She then assisted Captain Picard and The Doctor in acquiring gold to stop the Cybermen.
