Lieutenant Alec was a male Starfleet officer assigned to the USS Ranger in the 2360s.

After a science mission had been completed, Alec convinced the ship's captain into allowing him to convert the empty mission module into a zero-g soccer field. (ST reference: Ships of the Line)
