• Baseball player Buck Bokai in the Planetary Baseball League is traded to the club at Seibu from the Tanis team. In that summer season, he had 153 games, 582 times at bat, 100 runs, 210 hits, with 44 doubles, 7 triples, 3 stolen bases and 21 home runs. He was responsible for 74 runs batted in and had a batting average of .331.^[2][3]
