Wasner was a star system, located in or near Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics
In the year 2368, the Federation starship USS Golden Hind was ordered by Starfleet to travel to the Wasner system in response to reports of a solar disturbance. Admiral Brian Anderson, the ship's commanding officer, cut short a conversation with Katherine Pulaski to accommodate the change in orders.
