Hi, everyone. The names Jex. Sounds Bolian, dosen't it? I have only just recently discovered this site, about a fortnight ago and am keen to contribute.

This site, let's face it, is one of the best Trek dedicated sites there is. Sure Memory Alpha is god but have you ever wondered what happened to a favouritre character after a series had finished? Of course I did. So, I'm here adding info where necessary. Memory Beta, I salute you.

All About Me

I have always had Star Trek, in it's many incarnations, around me. TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT were all sourses of hours of entertainment for me growing up. The movies, a real treat.

I remember, especially, visiting my Grandmother and DS9 being shown when I was there. Of course, back then I was about 7 or 8 so it seemed pretty confusing to me, with it's long flowing story archs. (Face it, miss a few episodes and your're lost). Many questions were raised such as, 'Who exactly are the Dominion?, 'Whay are Kira and Odo wearing different uniforms to the others?' and 'Dax has changed a bit, hasn't she?' A perplexing universe to me at that age.

Growing older I can appreciate Star Trek in an entirely new light. The complex political situations that arise from discovering new world, conflict ariseing from such hotilities and the overall journey towards Roddenberry's dream of a 25th century with no illness, desease or poverty.
