The USS Ghandi was a famous Starfleet vessel.
Service history and disposition
Famed for its missions of exploration, the ship was badly damaged after being attacked and was decommissioned at Surplus Depot Z15. (TNG novelization: Unification)
- Spelled "Ghandi" in the novelization, this presumably was meant to be named for Mahatma Gandhi, as was the later Ambassador-class USS Gandhi. Sources describe the later vessel as being in service by the year 2324, so this Ghandi must already have been out of service by that point.
