USS Anggitay was a Centaurus-class starship in service to Starfleet in the mid-23rd century. Until it was declared missing in 2264, it was commanded by Captain Angelo Sabatini.

In 2262, following a Agni attack that crippled the USS Sacagawea, Gary Mitchell had received orders to report to the Anggitay the following month. The reassignment didn't last long as Captain Sabatini was downright glad to send Mitchell back to Captain Kirk as he seemed to be the only one capable of keeping Mitchell under control.

In March of 2264 the Anggitay was declared missing by Captain Kirk. After a week of searching, and no trace of escape pods Captain Sabatini and the ninety-two members of his crew were presumed dead. (TOS novel: The Captain's Oath)
