Truke was a male of a species with a furred neck who served in Starfleet in the 2370s. In 2376 he was serving on the USS Enterprise-E and was on duty on the bridge when numerous reports began to come in from Enterprise personnel on Deep Space 9, where the Enterprise was docked at the time, that the station had gone to red alert.
