While visiting Starbase Deep Space 9 in the year 2371, Starfleet Ensign Harry Kim attended a performance of The Cherry Orchard by a Tellarite production group. Kim wasn't impressed. (VOY novelization: Caretaker)

Lieutenant John C. Kirk once referred to Pavel Chekov as "Cherry Orchard" over the radio in hopes of reaching the time traveling ensign in Stalingrad in 1942. (TOS novel: Home Is the Hunter)
