The Task Force Thonat was a Federation Starfleet military unit operating active during the Four Years War against the Klingon Empire, reference stardates 1/9409 – 1/9806 (c. 2250s).

History and specifics

Near the end of the war, the retreating Klingons captured and fortified the planet T'Vam, the site of an Orion Colony. It eventually fell to Task Force Thonat during the Assault of T'vam on reference stardate 1/9708. The Orion inhabitants quickly chose to join the Federation (FASA RPG module: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge).
