Starbase 35, or Pharos, was a Watchtower-class Federation starbase, operational in the later 23rd century.

Service history

In the year 2272, newly graduated Starfleet Academy cadet Gareth MacNeil joined the staff of Starbase 35 as a communications officer. He served there for 18 months, until the V'ger incident, then transferred to the USS Potemkin. (TOS eBook: Shadow of the Machine)

The wife of Dennis Beauvais was in residence on this starbase in 2298 when she gave birth to the couple's son. News of the birth was relayed to Dennis at the site of his Starfleet service assignment, aboard the starship Excelsior. (TLE novel: The Sundered)
