Spacer tots were a form of tater tots, a food of the Human civilization of the planet Earth. Regular tater tots were potatoes, chopped and fried into small shapes, and the spacer tots seemed to be a variety of these served with a cheesy sauce.
At a buffet banquet for Fleet Admiral Stark Inman on Starbase 77 on stardate 57401.2, the spacer tots were a prominent offering. Inman's bride, Doctor Katherine Pulaski, commented that a defibrillator would be an appropriate accoutrement to an event where the questionable-looking spacer tots were served.
