A Security Log is a type of log recorded by a security officer, up to and including the security chief to record security events that occurred on a vessel, base, or other installation.

At the behest of Commander Benjamin Sisko, Deep Space 9 Security Chief Odo started a security log for the station after Starfleet had taken charge of administration of the station. (DS9 episode: "Necessary Evil")
