Prak was an officer of the Ferengi Alliance, a DaiMon who commanded a D'Kora-class marauder.
Biography
In the year 2370, Prak was suspected of involvement in the disappearance of the Federation starship USS Fleming. A verteron pulse set in the vicinity by the Hekaran Rabal disabled Prak's marauder. In exchange for Prak's disclosure of the whereabouts of the Fleming the USS Enterprise-D sent some repair crews to Prak's ship. (TNG episode: "Force of Nature")
In 2371, Noonian Soong negotiated with Prak. (TNG - Cold Equations novel: The Persistence of Memory)
