Param was a 24th century Cardassian, a gul in the Cardassian Union's Cardassian Guard. He commanded a Galor-class starship.
Biography
In the year 2371, Gul Param's ship and the USS Defiant entered the Gamma Quadrant to engage Aresian warships and forestall an invasion of the Alpha Quadrant. The Aresians used a weapon against Param's ship which caused their shields to collapse, giving the Aresians The opportunity to destroy the ship and kill Param's crew. Dukat learned later that Lane Crockett had passed the information to the Aresians, leading to Crockett's execution by Dukat. (DS9 - The Secret of the Lost Orb comic: "Gods of War")
