Ohm was a Borg drone, originally a female Klingon. Ohm was given her individuality after Hugh was returned to her ship following his capture by the USS Enterprise-D, and they were subsequently severed from the Borg Collective.

After the death of Lore, Ohm joined Hugh in establishing the Independent Nation of Borg, and served as one of his key officers. (VOY - Strange New Worlds II short story: "Seventh Heaven")
