The Naprem was a Cardassian starship of the Cardassian Union's Central Command in the 24th century. The Naprem was a captured Klingon bird-of-prey renamed "Naprem" by Dukat for Tora Naprem, Tora Ziyal's mother.

Service history

The ship was originally commanded by K'Temang, who ordered his crew to attack the Cardassian colony on Korma. Also killed were several Bajoran delegates, so Kira Nerys worked with Gul Dukat to track down K'Temang‘s ship. Using a disruptor salvaged from Korma and installed in Dukat’s freighter Groumall, K'Temang‘s ship was attacked and boarded by Kira and Dukat. K'Temang‘s crew were transported to the Groumall, which Dukat then destroyed. (DS9 episode: "Return to Grace")

The Naprem carried Captain Benjamin Sisko's infiltration away team to Ty'Gokor in 2373. (DS9 episodes: , "Apocalypse Rising")

Dukat brought the Naprem to Deep Space 9 just prior to the Dominion invasion of the Alpha Quadrant. From his ship, he revealed to Kira that Cardassia had joined the Dominion and his ship joined the Dominion fleet. (DS9 episode: "By Inferno's Light")
