In 2275, during one game, James T. Kirk spend some time sulking when he had to sell Park Place to another player. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)

The game is not mentioned by name in the novel, but its identity is clear from the context.

Wesley Crusher was familiar with the game. In 2366, when Worf quoted QumwI with the remark, "The end justifies the means," Quintin Stone and Data recalled other aphorisms attributed to him. Overhearing the conversation, Crusher quipped, Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars, the instructions one followed when landing on the jail square in Monopoly.
