Matulo was a male Tomol living on the island of Suba on the planet Arethusa in the late 2260s.

In the year 2269, Matulo was one of the Wardens pursuing the Changed Nimur to the Caves of the Shepherds along with high priestess Ysan, her diciple Seta and a Federation Starfleet landing party. When they found Nimur's infant daughter Tahna in the Caves, he was charged with carrying her back to the village. (Seekers novel: Second Nature)
