Magnolia Key was a tiny island, one of the Florida Keys located south of the Florida coast in North America on the planet Earth.

In fiction
In the holonovel The Falcon's Gold, Tredegar Jones buried gold from his lost ship Halcón on the island amid a group of strangler fig trees in the 17th century.
In 1653 Captain Robert Southerby – under the alias of Beauregard – sailed the pirate galleon Atocha to Magnolia Key. He knew of the island despite it being uncharted on several maps. His crew unearthed the gold, but mercenary pirate Ironface and his ship the Reaver soon arrived to fight for the gold in a sea battle off the coast of Magnolia Key.
