"Last Remains" is a 1995 Star Trek: Deep Space Nine comic written by Dan Mishkin.

A Romulan bird-of-prey is discovered in the wormhole, not only threatening the wormhole itself, but Deep Space 9 and Bajor as well.

Summary

An electromagnetic pulse causes stationwide power failures, the destruction of a ship coming through the wormhole, and a shift in Bajor's rotational axis. Dax identifies the source as something inside the wormhole. While Sisko considers his options, which include collapsing the wormhole, a probe reveals the remains of a Romulan warship inside it. The Romulan vessel's artificial singularity is the cause of the disruption to the wormhole, leading Dax and O'Brien to undertake a mission to retrieve the Romulan ship before another pulse destroys DS9. Dax comes up with a plan to invert the wormhole, which dislodges the Romulan ship. The Defiant fires on the wreckage, collapsing the singularity.
