Ker was a 24th century Klingon man, a citizen of the Klingon Empire. He was the father of K'Gan, who served as third officer aboard Jurlek's bird-of-prey in the year 2409.

In that year, K'Gan, son of Ker, formally pronounced his superior officer the captain of the bird of prey under Imperial law after they defeated Captain Jurlek. K'Gan then formally proclaimed taking his place as their first officer. (STO - Tour of Duty mission: "Challenge for Command!")
