The jipper was a favorite of Harry Mudd in the 2250s decade.

When captured by Tevrin Krit, an android replica of Mudd tried to bargain for his freedom, but mentioned to Krit that he had no fortune to offer for his release, remarking that, if he "had any money, he'd be sipping jippers on a beach somewhere." (Short Treks episode: "The Escape Artist")
