The Invasion of Capory was an assault by the Romulan Star Empire on the Human colony world of Capory during the Earth-Romulan War, in the year 2156.

History

The Battle

At the time of the invasion, Earth Starfleet forces were preparing for an assault to retake Berengaria, thus no ships were available to defend the Human colony or evacuate any of its inhabitants. Shortly after their arrival, the Romulan forces started aerial bombardment, killing all 2000 colonists on the planet.

Aftermath

With this victory, the Romulans gained another foothold in Coalition space, but the lack of Starfleet presence made Admiral Valdore suspicious.

Newstime corespondent Gannet Brooks reported on the incident and yet again made critical comments toward Starfleet, which eventually lead to her being recalled by her editor. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)
