History and specifics
Hima was a planet that support a fauna and flora. Requiem City[1], also known as Requiem, was a city on Hima. The Requiem City Mercantile Exchange was a mercantile in operation in the 32nd century. Around that time, wreckage of 31st century Starfleet ships, including the saucer of an unidentified Kirk-class starship, polluted Hima's orbit.
In the year 3188, the time-displaced Starfleet officer Michael Burnham collided with Cleveland Booker's Kwejian frigate when she arrived from the 23rd century, forcing the two to work together after the crash. They made it to Requiem City, where the Emerald Chain captured Burnham and later chased the escapees after Book rescued her. (DSC episode: "That Hope Is You, Part 1")
Book and Burham recalled their visit to Hima when they both worked as couriers. (DSC novel: Wonderlands)
- In ST video game: Infinite, the first colonized planet in the randomly generated Hima system is named "Hima Prime" by default.
