Henry was a distant uncle of James T. Kirk.
Biography
He frequently visited Kirk's family on their farm in Iowa, where he often told stories about their pioneer ancestors. Kirk never knew if the stories Henry told were true, but they did give him his first thirst for adventure. (TOS - Who's Who in Star Trek comic: "Issue 1")
