Biography

By 2381, Gong held the rank of commander was the commanding officer of Deep Space 3.

Gong was the only person outside of Lieutenant Commander Kareem Mussad's Starfleet Corps of Engineers team who was aware of the study of Borg technology, under the name Project Reassimilation, taking place on that space station. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
