Biography
Gavar was trained as a physician and participated in an exchange program, serving in sickbay on the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D in the year 2366. Captain Picard recommended her for a Medal of Valor when she saved the away team aboard the Ylan artifact. (TNG novel: The Eyes of the Beholders)
