Edema is the homeworld of the Edemian civilization, a planet located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics
In the year 2369, Mas Marko, Azira, Rasa, Lobb Sorbel and Del made a long journey from Edema to Deep Space 9. After Marko excommunicated his wife Azira from the K'olkr religion, Marko warned her not to return to Edema as the people would be violent towards her. (DS9 novel: The Siege)
