Beta IV was a planet located in Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the fourth planet in orbit of the Beta star system.
History and specifics
In the year 2266, the Vulcans erected a shrine on Beta IV to house the emotions their ancestors bottled thousands of years ago. The Federation starship USS Enterprise was assigned to deliver them there, but never made it as the emotions were absorbed by Malok on Pollux II. (TOS comic: "The Brain Shockers")
