Beta Agni was a star system, located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, within the 24th century boundaries of Federation space.

History and specifics

The Beta Agni system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including second planet Beta Agni II. (TNG episode: "The Most Toys")

The stellar cartography notation using the Greek language letter "beta" indicates that there might be a star group, constellation or stellar classification of some sort named "Agni", of which Beta Niobe would logically be indicated to be the second most prominent star or system.
