Background

• This story reiterates a mistake that was made in TNG episode: "Journey's End", in referring to the Traveler as being from Tau Ceti. Both TNG episode: "Where No One Has Gone Before" and "Remember Me" established the correct origin of the Traveler as being Tau Alpha C, and the plots of both episodes had Tau Alpha C as a very distant location, inaccessible except by very long journey. Tau Ceti, however, is one of the nearest star systems to Earth and would not have been hard to reach.
