1979: NASA probe Voyager 1 discovers active volcanoes on Io.
1989: Richmond Barthé dies.
2155: The Coalition Compact establishing the Coalition of Planets is signed by United Earth, the Confederacy of Vulcan, the Andorian Empire, and the United Planets of Tellar. (ENT novel: The Good That Men Do)
2358: Irene Hansen writes a journal entry about a visit by Lieutenant Byron Morgan, who brought her the personal possessions of her brother Magnus Hansen, who was lost and presumed irretrievable in the Delta Quadrant, but she hasn't given up on him.
