2164: On the Orion homeworld, Doctor Honar-Des prescribes D'Nesh with a supplement to increase Orion hormones that are naturally dwindling due to her age. D'Nesh realizes Navaar is also using the supplement. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: Tower of Babel)
2267: Starbase Vanguard Lieutenant Ming Xiong and Doctor Carol Marcus notify Rear Admiral Heihachiro Nogura that the center of the Mirdonyae Artifact contains a living, disembodied Shedai. JAG office Captain Rana Desai grants warrants to Security Chief Haniff Jackson to further investigate the bombing of the USS Malacca. Desai also meets with Nogura to establish an interdiction order to outlaw looting of Omicron Ceti III and leads a crewman disciplinary hearing. (VAN novel: Precipice)
